The order the store page implies
Official progression is toothbrush, a better brush, more carrying capacity, then cleaning vehicles once the job gets bigger. The achievement Get A Better Brush is at 100% global completion. The first structure, Moon Improvement Project, is at 60.2%. Most players upgrade the brush before they build.
Rules players are using
Brush capacity is reported as 2 kg, then 4 kg. Capsules stay at 1 kg. One thread says it is easy to reach a better tool, so mid-tier upgrades get skipped, and a few flags can skip a tier entirely. That is a player strategy, not a documented unlock.
J.O.O.N.A.S, the robot, stops when it leaves the player’s range. A 9.5-hour review put even a top-tier robot under 5% of a player’s output. Treat it as a helper beside you, not a second crew.
Upgrades are personal in co-op. Money is shared. If two people both buy the same logistics upgrade, the group pays twice. Agree who buys economy upgrades before anyone spends.
Demolition returns about 75% of the cost, and buildings cannot be moved or rotated. A wrong purchase is a 25% loss. Solar panels are the exception players mention: they turn to follow the light on their own.

Do co-op partners share my upgrades?
