Moon Sweepers System Requirements
Moon Sweepers asks for Windows 10, 8 GB of RAM, and a GTX 1650 or RX 570 at minimum. The recommended line is Windows 11, 16 GB, and a GTX 1660 Super or RX 5600 XT. Storage is 2 GB minimum and 4 GB recommended. A 64-bit CPU and OS are required.

Both tiers need a broadband connection. The page does not promise a frame rate. The small install size is what Steam lists; the page does not explain how an open Moon fits in 2–4 GB.

Deck, Linux, and crash reports
Steam’s Deck endpoint returned resolved_category 0, unrated. One player says it runs, with glitches that improve on medium settings.
Linux is not a supported platform. A player traced crashes to a memory leak and edited boot.config, changing gc-max-time-slice from 3 to 0, under Moon Sweepers/MoonSweepers_Data/. That edit is unsupported.
On Windows, an RX 7600 owner reported crashes many times an hour, the GPU pinned at 100%, and UnityPlayer.dll in the event log. They had already tried running as administrator, -dx11, windowed mode, and disabling fullscreen optimizations. Another player found STP upscaling helped and a 7900 XTX owner said the same setting crashed immediately. I am not calling any of these a fix.
Questions
Can a Steam Deck play Moon Sweepers?
Valve has not rated it. One player reported it runs with visual glitches that ease on medium. Buy it only if a refund is acceptable.
Does it run on Linux?
Steam marks Linux as unsupported. A memory-leak workaround exists in a player thread and is not an official patch.
Why is the download only 2 GB?
That is the figure on the store page. The page does not explain the size. I am not going to guess at streaming or compression.
